The School Psychologists’ Association of Western Australia Inc.
Was established in 1989 by a small group of School Psychologists who were keen to provide professional support to and advocacy for School Psychologists in WA. Currently SPA has approximately 355 members.
SPA is affiliated with the Australian Psychologists and Counsellors in Schools (APACS) previously the Australian Guidance and Counsellors Association (AGCA) and is an active Association that is comprised of School Psychologists working in public, non-government and independent schools.
Our Association provides opportunities for resource sharing, professional development through regular events, and a forum to discuss the complex aspects of working in schools. Our professional events are open to non-members and focus on the practical aspects of working with young people and school systems.
